WHICH MUSE ARE YOU? Introducing "THE MUSES" at The Urban Muse Gallery
The Urban Muse in Denville is thrilled to present "THE MUSES," a captivating exhibition curated by Denville Arts Council, opening May 7 and running through September 9. This compelling show invites you to discover the enchanting stories of the nine daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne through the eyes of talented local artists.
Each of the nine Muses—divine inspirations for art, literature, science, and music—is brought to life through various artistic mediums. From Calliope, the muse of epic poetry, to Urania, the muse of astronomy, our featured artists have reimagined these mythological figures in contemporary and classical styles alike.
This diverse exhibition showcases paintings, sculptures, mixed media pieces, and more, creating a rich tapestry that bridges ancient Greek mythology with modern artistic expression. Whether you're an art enthusiast, mythology buff, or simply seeking inspiration, "THE MUSES" offers a unique journey through creativity and cultural heritage.
