Please make every effort to arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment is scheduled to begin.  All treatments will end on time, regardless of when they start.

We respect all of our clients’ busy lives, so we cannot extend our services to accommodate a late arrival.

Cancellation Policy

We require 24 hours notice to change or cancel an appointment.

In the unlikely event you cancel your appointment, we will do our best to re-book your service time with another client. If we cannot do so we will automatically charge your credit card 50% of the amount of the service.

If you book a same day appointment, the 24 hour cancellation policy still applies to that service.

minor policy

Our minors policy requires that all persons under the age of 18 must have our Minor Consent Form AND Intake Form filled out and signed by a parent/guardian.

• The parent/guardian must be in the room for all persons age 13 and under.

• The parent/guardian must be in the building for all persons age 14 & 15.

• For ages 16-17 the parent may initial to waive being in the room during the treatment but must remain in the spa/store for the entire service.

• No one under 18 is allowed in spa unless receiving a service.

Therapist Preference

If you have a specific therapist in mind or gender preference, please let us know at the time of your booking.


Our treatment rooms are designed for privacy and comfort. We use natural materials and follow the principles of feng shui to achieve a tranquil space that supports your well-being.


It is in your own best interest to arrive early. Arriving late will cheat you of valuable minutes of your spa services. Remember, your service will end on time as scheduled, so that the next client isn't delayed, regardless of how late you begin. Our spa environment is one of relaxation and peace. Please respect other guests' right to privacy, speak quietly, and mute all mobile phones and electronic devices.


We provide cotton robes, slippers, and eye pillows for your convenience.

Customer Satisfaction

If you are not satisfied with your spa services, please let us know within 48 hours. We will make every effort to accommodate you and ensure your satisfaction.


If you are allergic to certain essential oils, nuts, and other items that may be used in any of our treatments, please let our staff know ahead of time, so that we can accommodate you with any necessary substitutions.


Personal belongings can be stored in a basket that will remain in the privacy of your treatment room. The Urban Muse is not responsible for any lost valuables. 


For legal and safety reasons, as well as insurance purposes, children under 18 are not permitted in the spa area unless they are receiving a service.

Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian fill out and sign a consent form for any services and remain on the premises during the service.

Children 15 and under must have a parent present in the room during any service.


We are pleased to offer complimentary beverages, including citrus-infused water and gourmet teas, as well as an assortment of tasty snacks.


If you wish to shower, please notify us when booking your service. We have towels, shower shoes, complimentary bath products and hair dryers available. 


While tipping is optional, it is customary to give your service provider a 20% gratuity if you are pleased with the treatment you receive.


Due to potential contraindications, we cannot accommodate massage for mothers who are still in their first trimester. Please let us know if you are or may be pregnant before the start of your scheduled treatments.  


You have the right to know which products are used in our spa services. We will prepare a printed list of these products for your reference.

Gift Cards

The Urban Muse offers gift cards for all denominations or services over $10. Gift cards must be presented at the time of redemption. Lost or stolen cards cannot be honored. Gift cards are not refundable.

Right of refusal

The Spa at The Urban Muse reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
