We are delighted to introduce Ovi Paulter, a gifted sculptor, whose exhibition, Tender Layers: A Sculptural Garden, will grace the walls of The Urban Muse Spa from February through May 2026.
Ovi’s work invites us to pause — to feel the stillness, softness, and quiet renewal that mirrors the healing philosophy we hold dear at The Urban Muse. Each hand-shaped floral relief carries its own emotional pulse: the tender unfolding of a peony, the steadfast courage of a gladiolus, the serene promise of a magnolia in bloom.
Artist Statement
Ovi Paulter’s Tender Layers is a meditation on gentleness and endurance — a sculptural
garden shaped by touch, time, and memory. Each floral form holds a quiet pulse of emotion:
the way clay softens in the hand, the way light settles into crevices like breath. Her work
invites the viewer to slow down, to sense the weight and silence of what endures beneath
beauty.
Rooted in personal memory and guided by the rhythm of nature, the series moves through themes of promise, connection, and renewal. These are not florals to be admired from a distance, but moments of stillness to be entered — each bloom a tender offering, remindingus that growth often begins in quietness.
