Krystinia has over eight years of jewelry crafting experience but still feels that she has only scratched the surface of the Goldsmithing world. (Goldsmithing is the catch-all word for any jeweler who works diminutively.) She works in all non-ferrous metals including silver, copper and gold.

Krystinia has worked with a number of jewelers over the years and completed an internship at Peter's Valley in 1998. The prior year she signed up for seven classes in Metalworking and the Head of the Metals Department called to check on her sanity. He said she would burn out by summer's end. When she didn't, he offered her an internship the following summer. Krystinia is a fast learner with a gift for this artform..

In the SCA, Krystinia was able to take her ability in a whole new direction. She was able to break out of the jewelry mindset and start making functional pieces as well. From silverware to hairpieces to boxes, these new forms gave her a new artistic outlet and a platform to try many techniques that she had only read about.

Here is a short history of Krystinia's pieces created for the SCA:

In addition, Krystinia has taught numerous SCA students over the past five years. She freely teaches all those who are interested in learning this craft.
